India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, but ironically, almost 30 % of its billion people have no access to electricity. The Government of India is rapidly trying to achieve 100% electrification and that presents a great challenge to the Indian Power Sector. It is essential to believe that the Government controlled Distribution companies (Discoms) and Private Power Producers will have a key role to play.

iCoal Energy Private Limited is founded in 2014.

We are reckoned as a Prominent Trader, Supplier, Importer and Service Provider of Coking Coal, Thermal Coal, Non-Coking Coal and Petcock.

We aren’t just a commercial organization, but consultants with comprehensive knowledge about the Coal industry. We believe in maintaining strong relationships with our clientele, and providing the necessary guidance to simplify the (coal) sourcing process.

We are a keen familiarity with Government policies and formalities that has made us one of the most trusted players in the industry. We have been immensely improving in creating the Company’s name as a source of quality coal supply through numerous satisfied customers mainly in the 3 sectors of the country i.e. Steel, Cement & Power.

Successfully revived over 300 MW power plant

We icoal energy pvt ltd are pioneered to successfully executed these kind of collaborations between Power Companies and Big Investors and till date we have successfully achieved 300 MW power plant revived and we are working enthusiastically to achieve our target of 2500 MW.

Our Founder

Ravi Deshmukh

ICOAL

Ravi has over 15 years of experience in USA in sales, marketing and management roles. Prior to founding iCoal, Ravi worked at Ameriprise Financial as Director of Business Development. Prior to Ameriprise Financial, Ravi was at JHS Capital Advisors as Sr. Vice President. Recognizing the energy industrial growth of Asian countries and rising demands for coal, iCoal Energy has been formed for fuelling the thermal power plants and steel and cement industries to provide seamless transaction between coal miners and buyers while assisting both parties at every step of the transaction.
